Glassdoor is no longer an independent place to advertise jobs, and as of 1 July 2026 it is no longer an independent company either. The legal merger completed that day and Glassdoor is now operated by Indeed, Inc. under Indeed's terms and privacy policy. The brand, the site and anonymous reviews continue. Posting a job on Glassdoor means buying a sponsored Indeed job.
The absorption ran through 2025 and 2026. Parent Recruit Holdings cut around 1,300 jobs in July 2025 and said Glassdoor's operations would fold into Indeed, the CEO left in October 2025, and users had until 20 April 2026 to link their Glassdoor accounts to Indeed or lose full access. On 8 July 2026 Indeed launched an Employer Branding Suite that manages brand across both Indeed and Glassdoor, sold as an annual subscription and available in the UK.
